The honest version
Microneedling is one of the few treatments in aesthetics where the science is boring and solid: controlled micro-injuries prompt your skin to rebuild with fresh collagen. No filler, no toxin — your own repair response, pointed in the right direction.
We pair it with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for clients who want more from each session. We draw a small vial of your blood, spin it down, and return the growth-factor-rich plasma to your skin while the channels are open. It is the rare add-on we actually recommend, because the difference is visible. Expect a plan, not a miracle: texture work is a series, and we will tell you at the consultation how many sessions your skin realistically needs.

What it can't do
Every treatment has limits. Here are this one's.
Microneedling will not erase deep ice-pick scars in one round, tighten significantly loose skin, or replace lost volume. Results build gradually over two to three months as collagen matures — if you need a result for an event next week, this is the wrong treatment and we will say so. And no single session changes much of anything; anyone selling one-and-done microneedling for scarring is selling you the first appointment of a series they didn't mention.

Microneedling questions
You will be pink like a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, with possible light flaking on day three or four. Most clients treat on Friday and are presentable with light makeup by Monday. PRP can extend the redness slightly.
For scarring and dull tone, in our experience, yes — plasma delivers a concentrated dose of your own growth factors exactly where the skin is rebuilding. If your goal is mild texture maintenance, standard microneedling may be plenty, and we will tell you that rather than upsell the add-on.
Texture and pores: usually three. Acne scarring: three to six depending on depth and how your skin responds. We assess honestly at the consultation and re-assess after each session — results vary by skin type and scar age, and we would rather under-promise.
