SoleneAesthetics + Skin Studio

Physician-directed aesthetics · King Street

Subtle is the standard.

Results people notice. Work they can't. Twelve years of injecting, a physician's oversight, and a house rule we have never broken: nothing leaves this room looking done.

Consultations are complimentary — and roughly one in five ends with us recommending nothing at all.

The treatment menu

Six things, done properly.

No hundred-item menu, no gadget of the month. Six treatments we believe in, each with an honest page about what it can — and can't — do.

The Solene philosophy

“We turn away work that won't age well. It costs us money every week. It's also why our clients look like themselves.”

— Elise Tran, NP-C · Founder

Aesthetic medicine has an incentive problem: the more product an injector uses, the more they make. We solved it the boring way — with a rule. If a treatment won't look right in five years, we don't do it. Not for a bride, not for a birthday, not for a client who insists.

What's left is work you can trust: conservative doses, honest timelines, and a two-week check where we'd rather add a little than ever have to subtract.

How an appointment works

Unhurried, by design.

01

The consultation

Thirty unhurried minutes with Elise — complimentary, always. Your skin history, your goals, and a mirror-in-hand walkthrough of what we would and wouldn't do. Sometimes the plan is a treatment. Sometimes it's "not yet." You leave with honest answers either way.

02

The plan, in writing

Exactly what we recommend, in what order, at what cost — approved by you before anything is drawn or mixed. Conservative by design: we can always add at the two-week check. We can't gracefully subtract.

03

Treatment & the quiet weeks

The appointment itself is usually the shortest part. Then the work settles — and we stay reachable. A two-week check is standard on injectables, follow-ups are built into every series, and questions get answered by a human who knows your chart.

The person holding the needle

Twelve years of saying “that's enough.”

Elise Tran, NP-C, opened Solene in 2017 after years of injecting in dermatology practices — and after watching the industry drift toward volume in every sense of the word. Board- certified nurse practitioner, Allergan-trained, and known around Charleston as the injector who tells people no.

Every treatment here is hers. No rotating staff, no trainee day you didn't know about. Dr. Anne Whitfield, MD, directs the practice clinically and reviews every protocol we run.

The work

You've seen our results. You just didn't know.

We don't post dramatic before-and-afters, because dramatic is the opposite of the assignment. Our portfolio walks around Charleston looking rested, well-slept, and entirely unprovable.

This is a grown-ups' clinic. Most of our clients are 28 to 60, many came after overdone work elsewhere, and nearly all were referred by someone whose secret they'd been trying to guess.

Individual results vary — with anatomy, with product, with time. Anyone who promises otherwise is selling something. What we promise is honesty about yours, before you spend a dollar.

Elise is the third injector I've been to and the first one who used fewer units than I asked for. Three weeks later my sister asked if I'd been sleeping better. That's the review, honestly — nobody knows.

Mount Pleasant · Botox & Dysport

I came in wanting my lips done and left with a plan for my chin instead — she showed me in the mirror why, and she was completely right. It's been a year and it still looks like my face, just better balanced. My husband thinks I changed my hair.

Sullivan's Island · Dermal fillers

Twenty years of tennis were sitting on my cheekbones. Three IPL sessions over the off-season and the brown spots are simply gone — not faded, gone. She made me promise to wear a visor and actually checks.

Visiting us

One studio. Clients from everywhere the bridges reach.

We kept one location on purpose — the same two treatment rooms, the same injector, every visit. Clients cross the Ravenel from Mount Pleasant, drive down from Summerville, and time appointments around beach traffic from the islands. Find your route, your parking, and your neighbors' favorite treatments below.

Fair questions

Asked before, answered honestly.

All ten questions

Yes, and it is a real appointment, not a sales pitch with a clipboard. Thirty minutes with Elise: your face, your history, your goals, and an honest plan — which sometimes is "nothing yet, come back in two years." Roughly one in five consultations ends without us recommending any treatment at all. We consider those successes.

Elise Tran, NP-C — a board-certified nurse practitioner with twelve years of injecting, Allergan-trained, working under the medical direction of Dr. Anne Whitfield, MD. No rotating cast, no "injector of the day." The person who maps your face is the person who treats it, this visit and next visit.

Dr. Whitfield oversees our protocols, reviews complex cases, and is on call for anything clinical. Every product we use is FDA-approved and sourced directly from the manufacturer — never imported, never discounted through a gray market. It is the medical infrastructure a needle deserves.

It is the founding rule of the studio: we turn away work that won't age well. Elise has said no to lips, cheeks, and third syringes more times than she can count. Under-treating is correctable in two weeks; over-treating can take a year to walk back. Every incentive here is aimed at you looking natural.
